Self

The Self is of the essential nature of extremely pure consciousness,

eternal, all pervading, immutable, self-luminous

and existing in Its own luminosity like the radiance of the sun.

The self is by definition
the indestructible and infinite consciousness.

The self is pure consciousness,
subtler than even space...
It is never destroyed.
It is unborn.
It does not perish.

The Self is empty like space;
but it is not nothingness since it is consciousness.

This Self is the eternal existence. 

The one Self is the truth at all times. 

Behold the Self-luminous Self. 

With my vision turned upon the Self,

I rest in the Self.

I delight in the Self.

Remain in the pure Self.

I remain established in the Self.

Remain in the expansive state in the Self,
like the full ocean.

Resting in the Self is supreme good.

When the body dies, the Self does not die.

The Self is not destroyed when the body falls.
